Workshop Focus: Emotions are inevitably present in organizational and social media communication. The advent of digital technology facilitates collaboration and avails traces of such emotions. Simultaneously, affective computing technologies provide the possibility for scalable analyzing this data. This workshop will discuss tools, methods, and findings of analyses of the appearance of emotions, their regulation, and their effects in organizational and social media communication.
 
Invited Program: A series of speakers from a broad range of disciplines will present their research insight. The speakers will include (in alphabetical order):  Ivo Benke, Nassos Katsamanis, Seth Levine, Alexander Maedche, Shrikanth Narayanan, Anat Rafaeli, and Joseph B. Walter.

Call for Submissions: We are currently accepting 250-word abstract submissions for in-person flash-talk presentations. We encourage submissions from researchers of all levels and from all disciplines. 
Submission Deadline: June 20th, 2022 (Anywhere on earth time)

The submission deadline for the interdisciplinary pre-conference on affectivism at ISRE 2022 has been extended to MAY 19th. You have one more week to get your submission to us.

The invited speakers include Andrew Beatty, Joseph J Campos, Eran Halperin, Arvid Kappas, Dacher Keltner, Brian Knutson, Ioannis Pavlidis, Catherine Pelachaud, Birgitt Röttger-Rössler, Andrea Scarantino, Jan E Stets, Jeanne Tsai, and Tim Wharton. There will be presentations, an interdisciplinary roundtable, and a chance for early career researchers from all disciplines to present their affectivism-related work.
