Welcome to ISRE

The International Society of Research on Emotion (ISRE) brings together scholars from different disciplines across the world. Its goals are:

  • To provide a forum for the exchange of information of interests to its members;
  • To foster critical discussion of new ideas and findings on emotion;
  • To encourage collaboration on, or joint exploration of, new research areas;
  • To organize workshops and training institutes on new techniques and paradigms.

ISRE 2020

The normal schedule for the next conference is summer of 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic many conferences scheduled for 2020 have been postponed to 2021. The board of directors is therefore planning to postpone our meeting to 2022 as we are aware that it will be difficult for members to attend too many conferences in one year.

However, we are planning a number of virtual events for ISRE members in the interim period. Please stay tuned for announcements.
