Welcome to the Emotion Pre-Conference Homepage
The 2009 Emotion Pre-Conference will be held on Thursday, February 5th, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, in room # 13 in the Tampa Convention Center, Tampa, FL.
The Emotion Pre-Conference, now in its fourth year, is an annual event where social and personality psychologists can learn about recent trends in affective science, discuss ongoing debates in emotion research, and join a community of like-minded scholars.
This year’s event is sponsored by the International Society for Research on Emotions (ISRE) and Mindware Technologies. An exciting line-up of symposia, chaired by David DeSteno, Eddie Harmon-Jones, Lis Nielsen, and Nicole Roberts, will focus on emotion and social behavior, what we can learn about emotion from the brain, emotions in later life, and applications of affective science.
