Welcome to the Emotion Pre-Conference Homepage
The 2008 Emotion Pre-Conference will be held on Thursday, Februrary 7th, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, in the La Cienega meeting space in the Upper Level EAST complex of the Albuquerque, NM, Convention Center.
The Emotion Pre-Conference, now in its third year, is an annual event where social and personality psychologists can learn about recent trends in affective science, discuss ongoing debates in emotion research, and join a community of like-minded scholars.
This year’s event is sponsored by the International Society for Research on Emotions (ISRE), Cognition & Emotion, and Sage Publications. An exciting line-up of symposia, chaired by George Bonanno, Turhan Canli, Jennifer Lerner, and James Gross, will focus on emotion and psychopathology, genetic contributions to affect, mixed emotions, and future directions in affective science.
