Welcome to the Emotion Pre-Conference Website
The Emotion Pre-Conference, now in its fifth year, is an annual event where social and personality psychologists can learn about recent trends in affective science, discuss ongoing debates in emotion research, and join a community of like-minded scholars.
The 2010 Emotion Pre-Conference will be held on Thursday, January 28, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, in the Riviera Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, NV.
The organizers are planning an exciting line-up of symposia and panel discussions. We will hold two symposia, one each on empathy and emotion in close relationships. We'll also hold two panel discussions, one each on the interaction of culture and evolution in shaping human emotion and on distinguishing emotion reactivity from emotion regulation (see Presenters & Abstracts for more info).
